Gratitude List: Thanksgiving 2009

November 30th 2009 in Magic

I am SO very thankful for my Landon, my kids, my kitties and my GINORMOUS pain in the butt doogs.

I am thankful for our home, and for heat and indoor plumbing.

I am thankful for my job because it pays me well and is, in many cases, gratifying.

I am thankful for having completed my degree this year.

I am thankful for my family. I love them all more than words could ever express.

I am thankful for my friends, especially my close ones.

I am thankful for Amber Lotus’ health and her amazing attitude and inspiration.

I am thankful for Amber H, Amber L, Evi, Liz, Jay, and Landon. They are my lights when it’s dark out. They are my words when I cannot speak. They are my sanity when I’m feeling crazy, and my inspiration when everything seems so bleak. My world is so much brighter, lovelier, and more alive because these five people are a such a huge part of my experience.

I am thankful for my bed and the comfort it provides me every night.

I am thankful for my Floyd kitty, especially, because he follows me everywhere and I refuse to think he’s simply stalking me because I feed him.

I am thankful for my Aunt Cecilia and my Aunt Lori.

I am thankful for being in communication with my sister, Nina, again.

I am thankful for my sister Jasper, and my brother Justin. They are invaluable to me.

I am thankful for being able to keep the house indefinitely, and for not having to move in February.

I am thankful for being able to eat healthful, delicious food every day.

I am thankful for the free gym at work.

I am thankful for free audio books from the library.

I am thankful for more time to read and write.

I am thankful for being able to have my very own personal creative outlets.

Very, Very Calm

Lie down. Get comfortable.

Breathe in deeply. While you inhale, I want you to envision a clearish white light that crosses over your lips and nostrils. As you breathe it in, I want you to picture it crossing into your body, traveling down your throat, and into your lungs.

Absence Makes the Heart Become You

In the absence of coffee, I have become a tea fanatic.  Minus the caffeine.  Therefore, I am running low on tea.  And by running low, I mean that I have only a handful of those tea bag/ready made thingys and only two half bags of loose leaf.  And the stuff I do have is the [...]
